HR in Utrecht is looking for an experienced HR Compensation & Benefits Consultant with some experience as HR Business Partner. Who likes to work in a fast changing (local & international) environment with a strong focus on our strategy.

HR supports and advices management on HR policy and organizational matters in a complex local and international environment. We are responsible for an optimal alignment of the activities of employees and the Strategic goals and objectives of the company. The current HR department consists of HR Business Partners, a HR Project Manager, HR operations, led by the HR Director, who is part of the Board of Directors in the Netherlands.

In your Compensation & Benefits position you will be focusing on various projects to support the business and deliver high quality and professional compensation solutions. 

  • Maintaining the framework for local compensation & benefits;
  • Maintenance of the job framework and grading structure for the NL organizations;
  • Co-Responsible for the relation with social partners and Workers Council
  • Pro-actively prepare and initiate proposals for the negotiations with the Workers Council and Social Partners for the Collective Labor Agreement and Social Plan;
  • Prepare reports and recommendations for making compensation decisions
  • Support and/or lead various compensation projects, such as; Target Management, Performance Management and Mobility.

As HR Business Partner you will support, advice and align with managers on strategic business topics and support with HR processes, tooling and services. You will be responsible for a specific part of the business. 

  • Advising management on operational/tactical and strategic topics and analyze the impact of business decisions on HR implications and the other way around.
  • Supports and advices in organizational design and strategic FTE planning.
  • Assist business owners in manpower optimization/organization effectiveness projects like performance management, competence management and training and development.



Job requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in HR, (business) Economics or Law;
  • A minimum of five years of working experience in HR/C&B (in a similar position) in a ICT / Business environment
  • Highly developed Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English, including good presentation skills 
  • You show own initiative and Guts in the HR team, management and with employees on issues within the Compensation & Benefit area.
  • You have strong organizational skills, ability to handle multiple projects in a fast changing environment.
  • You have an analytical mind with strategic, tactical and operational qualities.
  • You are result oriented, pro-active, likes to take risks, look to the question behind the question and initiate changes in the company.
